Willow is a loyal gatherer for her local village of wildfolk, a race of four inch tall people living in the forest away from the monstrous "giants" who seek nothing beyond the torment and death of her kind. Her life is simple; wake up, go out, find supplies, and hope to live past thirty.
But when a bad storm washes up a wounded and alone Willow at Christian's doorstep, both of them find their lives turned upside down.
Christian is a giant, but not like the ones from the stories. Instead of being big, brutish, and violent, he's kind, clever, and gentle...and far from invulnerable, relying on his carefully managed network of lists and schedules to survive day to day life.
With Willow so far from the home that desperately needs her help, and Christian's world being thrown into chaos by her mere presence, will the two be able to learn to help (and be helped by) one another and become better people? Or will they split apart and fall back into their old ways?
