I stood there on the concrete porch. The light flickering, the icy wind suffocated me, cold,wet raindrops fell and damped the earth. this whole year leads up to this moment. i raised my hand and knocked on the wooden door giving off a deep thud. the door opened,there stood a pale girl, she had raven locks, and wore a charcoal colored dress.
"may I help you?" she said as she rose a eyebrow .
"can I speak to my daddy?"I was shivering out of fear and because I was wet and cold.
"s-s-slendy?"she said peeking her head back inside.
there walk up my father. tall as a tree,pale as snow, I automatically threw myself into his arms, tears streamed down from my violet eyes to my cheeks.
