Aaliyah stood, back facing the wall.

"What do you want from me? I already told you, Matt left. He told me he was heading to the store. Although, now that I think about it, maybe that wasn't the truth."

"Easy, boys. I'm right here. She's just my...plaything," came Matt's voice. When the man left, Matt leaned down to whisper in Aaliyah's ear.

"You are my target."

Aaliyah Light is a graduate from her university and is now in the market for a job.

Matthew Dark is a well-know thief you wouldn't wanna cross who's prone to drinking his own blood, and is wanted dead or alive for millions of dollars. But there's one problem. Matthew has been living with his best buddy Nico, but their landlord evicted them, and Nico is headed for the army. So when Nico suggests that Matthew stays at Aaliyah's house, since Aaliyah is Nico's sister, their paths cross.
