My Dear Sweet Maiden is a story based on the main idea of how far a man would go to get back the love of his life, however the story revolves mainly around the emotions he's going through in the absence of her presence. A lot of inspiration comes from Alesana's "The Emptiness" a beautiful master piece and Annabel Lee by Edgar Allen Poe. Although there are a few similarities between these works of art and My Dear Sweet Maiden, I would not call it fan fiction on account of it's a completely different story line. Please enjoy and let me know what you think and for God's sake don't be afraid to give me some negative criticism on the story. This is a purely imaginary fanfic. I mean no disrespect to the real individuals upon whom this short story is based. All actions and thoughts ascribed to the characters are purely made up, though they take inspiration from real events. The story is based upon what I imagine transpired between Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh at the very beginning of their relationship. I have great admiration and respect for both as individuals and as a couple. I would definitely be mortified if the real Deepika and Ranveer were to ever read this. Like I said, while the characters in this story take inspiration from them, they are in no way equivalent to the real people they are based on.
