Hiccup was the outcast at berk, the villagers despised him and never pays attention to the boy even when he was being beaten up by the other kids his age or when his father was beating him for being a disappointment to their family. Hiccup's only friend in berk was gobber and gothi yhose were his only friends because everyone hated him in the village, sure he was gobber's apprentice in the forge and he would invent great things but sometimes they don't work as well as hiccup imagined it to be and turns out destroying half of the village, that's when everybody treated him as an outcast because he keeps destroying things even though he's not doing it on purpose, hiccup's life was kind of depressing he was doing self harming but there was a strange figure watching him closely thingking of something to do with hiccup's situation.
A httyd runaway fanfic, p.s. this is my first story so pls don't judge my work if it's bad, if you dont like it then either tell me or stop reading. Hope you enjoy :)

Mistreated and malnourished, little Hiccup doesn't understand why most everyone on Berk hates him. Gobber notices the abuse and steps in, but things quickly spiral out of control and the only way to keep Hiccup safe is to smuggle him off of Berk and into the hands of their allies. Hiccup is soon adopted into another tribe and grows up discovering what having a true family is like, but the past never stays in the past, as he soon discovers when Berk reaches out to the famed Dragon Master for help. Hiccup and Toothless left Berk thinking no one cared. Being the neglected child of Berk (despite his family, and being the heir to the village), Hiccup decided he'd had enough.
