Katniss and Peeta are happy living a normal life with their 2 children. What happens when they make a fatal mistake? It results in another hunger games. The last hunger games. District 12 girl Adalayne volunteers. From her POV she goes into the Hunger Games, different hunger games with many challenging obstacles. She experiences love, betrayal, and sadness as she makes her journey. Hiiii so this is a sequel to the hunger games series. I recommend reading the trilogy and the prequel before you read this. We know her story. But have you ever wondered what it was like on the home front, in District 12? This story is Gale's, his outlook on the games, his feelings about his best friend's situation, and his interactions with the people of District 12. The story is set during the time period of "The Hunger Games" (book one of the trilogy). It is written from the perspective of Gale Hawthorne, and does not concern any events in books two and three. This is my first fan fiction, my first "real" attempt at long form prose writing, and my first Wattpad story. I appreciate constructive feedback, but please, no hate. While the characters and some plot points are based off of Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games Trilogy, (which I in no way own the rights to) I have created this story using my own imagination.
