A set of rules were placed under the Gods, one of which forbid the sacred feeling of love to blossom between an Archon and another. It was to prevent the Gods from getting too distracted from their duties.

The mortal/immortal had to have required a vision for the curse on their side to work, and without it, they were free to shower a god in as much love as they contained. The god in question of course, would never be able to love them.

This was the cruel rule laid upon the Gods. Many had intended to never love at all, while some failed to do that simple task.
