In my decade of working in the academe, I have seen how students, specifically the Gen-Z, struggled to adjust to their College lives. Most especially when Online classes were abruptly implemented due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
As an Educator, I felt this need to contribute more to supporting healthy college foundations of my students, which might give them an edge in their future careers -and change the lives of their families.
I was confronted with the nagging truth- My reach is limited within the four corners of the universities with which I am connected. I cannot help other students from other universities or colleges who are having a hard time not only adjusting but also surviving in tertiary education.
This book was birthed from this innate need to help and aid more students who are the future of this country.
I hope this book may provide you with the following:
1. Tips that may prepare you for the demands of College life. Learn to utilize the existing services of your possible Alma Mater to meet your academic needs.
2. Knowledge to help you discover your needs through self-assessment tools.
3. Learn how to utilize the existing services of your schools and manage stress and anxiety.
This book is not intended to replace professionals in mental health, please sought their help. Also, this may contain topics that are not suitable for younger readers.
