The Babylonian Exile took its toll on the Jewish population; scattering them about the Persian Empire and leaving their homeland a heap of rubble, suitable only for wild dogs.
At this time period, all seems hopeless and many forget their Jewish heritage.
But God, rich in mercy- sends people to restore His Chosen People to Him once more. From a Queen who risks her life to save the Jewish Diaspora, to prophets who encouraged the Jews to stay strong in their work of rebuilding the Temple.
Here are short stories taken from a point in each of these characters' books. Have a sneak peak at the life of these brave men and women who let God use them to restore His people.
