Kiara and Kovu are about to be next in line for the throne, however a lioness who is Zira's sister named Scarlet is wanting to kill Simba. When Kopa who is acting as King for the Pride Lands tries to conquer the Tree of Life but fails as Scar invades with an army, the Lion Guard are kicked out and Kion and Rani go on a crazy adventure.
