The first official writing assignment for my advanced creative writing class was a Shakespearean Sonnet. For those of you who don't know, a Shakespearean Sonnet contains 14 lines, has 10 syllables/line, is arranged in the rhyme scheme of abab and has three quatrains and a couplet at the end. I hope you enjoy my Sonnet #1.
