"Twelve and a half years now," Tommy said to himself. He looked at the silhouettes of the others. He could sense that they were all demoralized. No one could revive them now. "You're horrible," Schlatt said. "I'm just counting the days, man!" Tommy said. "What else am I supposed to do? Socialize with you maniacs?" Dream laughed, accidentally breaking character. "Yes. Yes, that is what is expected." "Shut up, Dream!" Tommy shouted, forcing Dream to become the hopeless murderer again. "You're in no place to talk! You caused this!" "You killed us!" Dream countered. "I-" A horrid pain spread from the centre of his torso. It was painful, but also really, really cold. Then it all went black. Tommy had gotten away from Dream in the canon universe, but in another Tommy was caught and turned into a living punching bag and, kinda, an experiment for Dream later on. He didn't expect Tommy to lose his emotions, the nervous system that told him when he was in pain, and even the will to carry on without Dream by his side. He didn't think that killing and reviving Tommy would affect him so much, but then again Dream wasn't complaining in the slightest. He finally had full control over Tommy, something he'd been craving since he first met the teen. He was not about to let his grip on the teen loosen.
