Devon is 26 year old male who lives with his brother, his brother was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks back, this caused Devon to re-enter a state of mental shock, he hadn't had an episode in over a year, but now he's falling down into a bad mental state again. Devon's brother, Gabe, got him to the doctors and got him back on his medications he took back when they still lived with their parents, but even though he's back on them, things just aren't right, deep within his mind, he can hear things...things that aren't there, he can hear voices...that aren't his own.

Unlike myself, who felt joy and inspiration from seeing father draw me this, mother was scared witless. Her legs became jelly, her body was paralyzed. All she could do was stare at the drawing, knowing that no one could have drawn this except an adult. And she knew I did not talk to any adults- or did I? Now she couldn't be too sure. Taken away from his family at a young age, Burt was sent away to a lab and experimented on. During all these tests, he slowly lost his sanity along with his human traits. The headaches were actually just his brain trying to help him figure out what his past life was like, however, he was quickly dealt with whenever he had a.. headache. Now he was cold, tired, hungry, and trying to figure out who he was and what his old life was like. With his father gone, Matthew Samuels struggled with his mental and physical health. His mom's boyfriend, Joseph, wasn't much of a help either. With only a few more weeks of summer left, Matthew just wanted to make the most out of it. However, during a camping trip, they came across a lost boy who went by the name, "Rickey." While Matthew was suspicious of this boy and his origin, his mother immediately insisted they took him in because of his frail figure. Little did they know just how much trouble they would put themselves in from that point on. Monsters are everywhere, but the human ones are the worst. At least the Creatures of the Night don't kid almost families, friends, neighbors, coworkers. Once reborn they live in the night. Sure, they do all of the same twisted things that humans do to one another, but they don't hide who they are. When you see them you know death is coming. You can predict the sick things they will do to you. But when the monster looks human, you're blindsided. One minute you're in love with a guy and the next he's slitting your throat. Trust me, I speak from experience. Gruesome things that use to make me sick now makes my stomach flutter in joy. I traded charming grins and blue eyes for carved smilies and orbs of onyx. I traded sunlight for the glow of the moon. I gave up living amongst humans for creatures of the night. And I wouldn't go back for anything in the world. I am finally home. I've spent so much time running from monsters that it's my turn to do the chasing. Sweet Dreams...
