Viviane's interview & shoot with V*gue had landed on the shelves of every store just as she'd learned she was chosen to be one of the next V*ctoria's Confession runway models. Her career was taking on a life of its own and no one could stop it, except, well, the Zombie Apocalypse.

Four years later, most of the population has been vaccinated and entered into a 'new normal'. Viv, as she prefers to be called, is a recovering zombie. If that wasn't enough stigma, following a huge social media blunder, her career seems pretty much over, leaving a hole in her life that's even bigger than the one that's still on her face. Frustrated and resentful, Viv tries to claw her way back into her agency's good graces and revive her dead career. Hordes of societal issues stand in her way, but is it possible that even the unexpectedly awful can be an opportunity to change her life for the better?

When you are infected with the virus, there are four stages. 1) Your fever will shoot up and everything will become intensified on a maximum level. You'll lose grip on what's reality and what's illusion. 2) You'll start to slowly fall down the rabbit hole, forgetting the past and everything and everyone that you knew. 3) You face your imminent death. 4) You wake up with a pressing hunger for the living. It's been seven months since the pandemic hit with this virus and the world has been ravaged and left to ruins. Society has crumbled to nothing and more than three fourths of the population have been infected with the mysterious virus that took the world by storm. The virus has turned anyone infected into crazed flesh-eating freaks, with decrepit skin and red puffy eyes. The only way to kill them is by obliterating the brain. Elise Alice Gordon, Lease for short, led a simple life until the virus hit. Seven months later she is just barely scraping by. She's done what she's had to do to survive, and in that process she has created demons that haunt her every time she closes her eyes. See, it hasn't been easy trying to live in a dead world. She's lost friends, family, and everything she's ever known. The only thing she hasn't lost is her humanity and her hope. But she's afraid she's starting to. Because in this new world, there's only her, the dead, and the restless. © 2012 by Ashtyn Mane. All rights reserved.

In a world, where showing emotion is a dangerous weakness, love becomes the only beacon of hope. No one noticed exactly when people began to fall victim to the broken life of monotony, but by the time humanity realized that witnessing strong emotion triggered violence in the infected, it was too late. Evelyn Li is not a fan of risk. Confined to the safety of an underground bunker for the past two years, when Evie stumbles upon a radio broadcast hosted by a mysterious boy with a sharp tongue and an impressive record collection, she's inspired to embark on a mission fuelled by the belief that her family might still be out there (and definitely not because she's desperate to finally meet the boy whose voice has been her sole companion since the darkness descended). Jonathan Johnson is not an optimist and definitely not a romantic. He wasn't at all surprised when the world ended or even when the Soulless took over the streets. With the weight of rising tensions in the colonies, an absentee father, and heart-breaking tragedy resting on his shoulders, Jonathan would much rather escape into his record collection and secret radio broadcast than deal with the general bleakness of life in the apocalypse. As he is reluctantly roped into Evie's search for links to her past, Jonathan begins to wonder if he can ever truly escape his. Together, the unlikely pair must navigate the treacherous landscapes of both the unforgiving world around them and the complicated emotions within. Will their connection withstand the trials of a world consumed by darkness, or will it become just another casualty of the apocalypse?

I once had faith in life, when everything was alright Dreams that were so big, now they do not exist I question my self, with grief within, I won't see who I should of been For the person I am is not truly me, I question my identity Who are they, why do they lie How could it not eat them alive Her helpless mind, lost some time. Her heart completed, soon depleted Her dreams were strong, where did she go wrong? Who are they, why do they lie How could it not eat them alive I don't know him or her, it's become such a blur The truth will come, they no need to hide For I can see the truth in their lies A choice will be offered Life or death How could I chose, I don't understand just yet Both ways are right, they both put up a fight One is bad, but wears a mask A mask of peace, but lies they hide To make a choice, in so little time Join me for my battle for it is time Demetria is a small town girl. She has the perfect life, perfect family, and perfect husband, or so it seems. She had achieved her goals in life, landing the job she always wanted. The home that she always dreamed of, built just for her. It seemed everything was always lined up for her. But she is not perfect. There are faults that she had left in the past. Things she had long buried with imperfections. What will happen when those faults are actually not faults. Instead, they are apart of a better side of her self. Things begin to spiral out of control, perfection no longer existent. Will she be able to find her true reason for creation? Will she come to terms with the truth that everyone hides? When your left to question everything in life, including reality... Will you be able to cope, forgive, and understand. Or will you fall, give up without understanding? Demetria's story begins here. But first, let me take you back, before I take you forward. Her story begins some thousands of years ago. In the heavens where the gods them selves live.
