It felt like needles in every arm hair spot but I wasn't crying from the pain, no that I could handle...  tears streaming from my face like waterfalls. It felt like nothing was different, until blood dripped from my eyes onto the once pale doll like skin of my palms now pitch black. Why did this have to happen like this? Why did SHE of all people betray me and for what? Her stupid superhero of a fathers approval at the cost of everyone and everything that cared for her? If she really wants to pretend like shes a hero then fine I'll be her villain..." 

Welcome to the world of Yandence City ! a civilization divided by two classes the superior sophisticated superhero's living in what's known as Wellborn Providence bashing heads with the scum of thievery and crime ridden streets of Yandence City alleyways . The common ruck don't really have any superpowers and blame their misfortunes on the higher privileged. We will follow two female protagonists from two different lives!
 Senka Aldor- a homeless teen of the Alleyways striving for a better life away from her terrible living situation hoping for a better tomorrow for her younger siblings.
Astoria Lamia- The daughter of the most well known Superhero in all of Wellborn Providence, she is destined to take her fathers place with the extraordinary powers she has but will she crack under the pressure of being a hero? Will she live up to her fathers expectations? and more importantly will she have to sacrifice the one she loves too be the hero Yandence City needs like her father once did?

A young girl, at the age of 6 tried to run from Hydra, tried to escape their grasp. Her silver eyes, shinning in the darkness, always giving her out. No where for her to run, but everywhere she wished she could. To her, there is no such thing as hero's, for if there where, she surely would have been saved by now. 2 years later, she is 8, she doesn't talk, she is beaten, she's tested on, and yet, Hydra can't seem to get her to do their bidding. Her silver eyes, never dulled, just lost the brightness that once filled her heart. "Hero's", she says, " are just made up fantasies for kids, to fill their minds with imagination. If hero's where real, then I would be saved from here long time ago." she feels no emotion, so it seems. She feels no pain, as it appears. But really, she just learned, to hold it on the inside. One day, she was suddenly pulled from one of her torture sessions, some of the agents, throwing her into a random cell. 2 staying just outside, watching, waiting. Then, they yank her out by the arms, pulling one out of its socket, dragging her somewhere else. They never seemed to slow, and when she would drag her feet into the floor, trying to stop them, she would get hit. Then, they where both shot down, by some stranger in a suit, catching his shield. More Agents came Marching down the Hall, at a sprint toward them. The girl, being grabbed my one, and slung over the shoulder. As she was giving up hope, the man saved her, once again, and taking her to a place, that has people who all love her, and are all hero's. She still doesn't believe in hero's, she believes, that there is nice people in the world, who want to try and save it. I do not own the charactersexcept for my OC, every others are marvels charecters. I am not going to follow a story line

Open Novella Contest 2025! This is my interpretation of prompt 50. A supervillain has a midlife crisis and decides to become a superhero. But redemption might be harder than they imagined. ___________________________________________________________________ Cassius Vale has spent his life in the shadows, a man forged by necessity-no questions asked, no hesitation. A fixer, a ghost, a necessary evil in a city that thrives on corruption and despair. He's become an instrument of violence, a blade wielded by unseen hands, but when a job leaves an innocent girl staring at him with pure terror in her eyes, something deep within him stirs. For the first time, he questions whether he can be anything more than a weapon for hire. Can the blood on his hands ever be washed away, or is he forever stained by the choices he's made? As crime tightens its vice grip on the city and a new wave of chaos surges, Cassius stands at a crossroads: remain the villain in this twisted narrative or fight for something greater than himself. But redemption comes with a heavy toll, and the path to heroism is littered with foes who won't let him slip away so easily. In a world where justice is nothing more than a fading memory and second chances are rare as gold, can a man molded by violence ever transform into a hero? Or will the darkness that has shaped his existence finally consume him, dragging him back into the abyss from which he emerged?

****IN EDITING**** Liza was used to living in the shadows. By day she works in the cafe on the corner of 6th and Main Street. But by night, she lays in her room singing songs that no one will ever hear as tears stain her pillows. 20 years ago, her father was the most beloved Superhero, Sunburst, but age has taken its toll on him and his gone into hiding as and every day joe. Too many nights at the bar have left him in an vengeful trance, and he take his anger out on the only person left with him. Liza. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- He just wants to run and never look back. Confusion had turned his heart cold as he figures out the he was never a hero. He just wanted the attention, but a conscience got the best of him and he retreated into hiding. Now the only thing he wants to do is tell that mysterious girl he met years ago that she was right. That he wasn't a hero. So everyday he sits in a cafe, trying to work up courage to say hello the the girl who serves him coffee every day. And every night he watches, wondering if he should save that same girl who spends her night collecting bruises. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- When Liza actually gets the guts to get up and run, she finally finds her chance to escape. But do you really escape when your father is the most powerful Super on planet earth? She will never be able to hide from him. The publicity and pressure that comes with being a superhero would be too much to handle right now. But it's hard to fly under the radar, when you can literally fly. Meanwhile, Vinicus Cauldwell enjoys the power he has as Murkbourne's most feared super-villain. For once, he can sit back and relax without being pestered by the police. That is, until Max arrives. Vinicus isn't happy about having to fight a child, but he can't let Max find out. After all, super-villains can't be "good people"... Can they? We can't all be born heroes. What happens when the only person in the world that understands you is the person you believed was evil. But a reputation can be fabricated, evidence can be tampered and memories can be manipulated. How does one decide who's good and who's bad? Who's the hero and who's a villain? Maybe the only real difference between the two is a change in perspective or perhaps keeping an open mind. Sometimes even a "Villain" has a good side and even a "Hero" has a bad one...so what would happen if they were to see eye to eye?....Who would be there to pull them from the deep end?...or maybe the high tide is exactly where they want to be.
