After Dino's death, Ash handed over all the documents and information he had on the Banana Fish drug, Dino's crime network and child prostitution ring and all the people on his payroll over to the police. In return he got immunity from prosecution which meant that after being the key witness in the trial that changed New York forever, all charges against him would be dropped and he would be
free.

Now, Ash was free which was what he had been fighting for for the last three years with only one goal in mind - to see Eiji again.

But how would he contact him when Eiji had assumed he was dead? How would he explain it and apologize for all the pain he caused him? What if he moved on or hated him? Or worse, had forgotten about him?
