Endless Night

The moon is a woman in the sky, looking down on us, who listens to the stories we whisper to her when we think no one else is listening.
She was chosen as a child and when she died she woke up as the moon, not remembering her name or her life on earth, now she is just the moon.
She loves her new life except that the sun, who she sees sometimes, is an arrogant man who thinks he owns the sky.
