Broken Mask
Deku got tired of hiding all of his emotions under a mask. Tired of keeping a smile on his face despite being constantly beaten up and ridiculed. He'd kept his mask up for so long that it was fragile as glass. The day it broke was a tragic one for his old "friend" and mother, but became a beautiful opportunity for him. The villains saved him. The villains were his family. The villains helped him put on a different mask. He was getting back at all the people who'd ridiculed him... or was he? Izuku quit dreaming of becoming a pro hero after three times of being denied. He decided to screw it, and just be normal. He has part time jobs, he recently graduated, he has a car, a nice apartment. And the support from his mom. That is all he needs. What he doesn't need is his childhood bully showing up in his Pro Hero costume outside his door. Or outside the window to his jobs.
