I see darkness.

Nothing. Nothing but pitch-black, complete darkness.

I'm breathing air. But wait, it's a thick mass of air. My lungs fill with heavy, cold and thick air. Wait. It's cold, and I feel my body floating. Or am I sinking?

SINKING! What the hell, I'm drowning!

I kick my feet furiously but they don't want to cooperate. It is like being trapped in your own body, gripping you tight from escaping.

I feel a slimy piece of solid across my stomach, dragging and hauling me to the depths of the sea. And for the first time, I see light. Is this the light to heaven? It is faint at first, then it grows into a ball of white light. I want to stretch my arms and reach for it but it fades and darkness envelops me one more time.

When I return to consciousness, I open my eyes to see a pair of obsidian eyes. And the man connected to those eyes is kissing me.
