"you think i'm helpless, don't you? after all we've been through you think you can't leave me on my own?" she asked, staring into his eyes. he had to look away.
"of course not! i just.." he trailed off. the flare was acting up again inside the girls brain.
"what!" she demanded.
"i can't lose you! i have no one else anymore," and like a switch was flipped the girls anger disappeared.
"oh," was all she said.
"now let's go to the city," he said. and to the city they went.

Summaries are so hard to write....anyways so this story is based off of the movies, considerably The Death Cure. This is also BOOK 2 so I very much recommend to read the first book before reading this one just so you understand some of the things that is being said. Just to be clear I am not British, so please forgive me for Newt's speaking lines. I didn't want to curse in this book either except for the occasional 'hell' but instead of cursing I like to put 'bloody'.
