Years are waning, the time has come...
The dragons shall turn from their current war...
Into a new one, with the bleakest outcome...
Unless the juniper branch and silky sea implore
For peace, for life, forevermore.
Juniper, a young LeafWing soldier, grew up believing that every dragon on Pyrrhia was born corrupt and unjust, with not regard for anyone other than themselves. But when she's assigned to attack an army training facility and leave no survivors, her childhood beliefs crumble... and she's forced to choose between her Tribe - and the enemy.
Meanwhile, Polyp, a SeaWing-SilkWing hybrid, sets out to find his SilkWing mother, but his father stands in the way of that when he enrolls him in army training. One night, he decides to run away and start searching for his mother, but an attack on the base prevents him from doing so... and he may never know the truth about his parentage.
But yet another tragedy strikes Pantala: An all-out HiveWing civil war. The two find themselves entwined on the same path, but will they be able to stop one war from happening while another pits them against one another?
Y/N, a simple woman, joins the deadly games to pay off debts after her mother's death. Young-Il, a heartless soul, controls the games, watching everything from afar while sipping on his glass of whisky.
But this year is different. When he spots Y/N, number 160, during the game of "Red Light, Green Light," he can't help but grow more obsessed with her.
The first game ends, and Young-Il decides it's time to join the games himself, meet her, and make her his forever. Not that he will allow anyone else to even look at her
But will Y/N really trust him?
