Y/n lives in the low middle class neighborhood of Detroit and has been depressed for 3 years now. She's only happy when he aunt is around but she passed away. Living with her alcoholic abusive mother, things only get worse.
She is in the 9th grade for the 3rd year. The bullies bully her. No one knows that she has cuts under her long sleeves except for her. She would always say that her favorite rapper and idol is Eminem. It brings her happiness and smiles whenever she hears his music. Even if she hasn't seen him live, she's happy with him in her mind.
One day, she packs her stuff and runs away from her school and "home".
She doesn't really know when she'll be happy but i think that will all change soon...
