After many unsuccessful attempts of making a single prince fall in love with him, Zhongli, decided to give up as he sees his other fellows get together with princesses and princes. Not only does he feel lonely, he feels miserable by the fact that his appearance probably scares the other princes, or they just don't turn out to be gay. 

Until his fellow told him that there was a land that was known for sacrificing their own children for dragons. He did saw some person on the forest as he was about to make his way, he stopped to check. 

That was when he finally had met the right choice.
