Cameron Cocteau and his eccentric group of friends return to the prestigious Barker Preparatory for their last year of high school. The rumors they heard during the summer break are true: for the first time in its history, the boarding school will now open its doors to girls. At an academy that was built on traditions, the word 'change' is not one to be welcomed without pushback - by teachers and students alike; specially not when the stability of Cameron's clique is threatened by the female presence.
However, Barker's seemingly perfect world is shattered not when the girls arrive, but when one of the male students is found dead the morning after a party no one can remember. That body is only the first of many, and the ritualistic nature of the killings seems to point the police investigation in only one direction: witches. Every girl is a suspect, yet the reputable preparatory cannot allow itself to go down in flames. Classes must go on, and so must students' spirits.
Murder is on the loose, yet Cameron and his friends are to focus on their academic success - not so easy to achieve, of course, when you may as well be the next victim. With no one to trust but each other (or so they think), involved in the esoteric mystery against their will, the clique will discover no one is what they seem as their ivy league dreams collapse along with their friendship; going down a fated spiral of guilt, betrayal and corruption.
