Ava is a quiet girl having an uninteresting life working as a maid at a brothel. She wakes up early every day and goes to bed late every night, trying not to make it obvious that she hides a unique gift and an unknown past. She was having another normal day at work until she realized her gift attracted one of the most dangerous creatures of Urantia: a Watcher.

Azrael is an Angel and a Watcher. He traveled through all Umbra and Lumen Kingdoms just to find the person who can help him on his mission. Determined to avoid another world cataclysm, Azrael wants to use Ava's unique Spiritwalker gifts to expose the oldest enemy of humanity: Azazel.

As Ava and Azrael try to uncover Azazel's plan and recover Ava's memories, they find in each other an unexpected passion. But a future together seems to be unlikely, as ancient dark forces return to Urantia.
