At five years-old, I would learn that no matter how much you love something, no matter how many hours you spend at night thinking about it, all of it's worthless to a cat. Whichever way the story is told, whether I'm made out to be the cat-hating bad guy who is despised by readers, or if it's made out to be that the cat was possessed by a murderous demon, there is no happy ending. And whether you put this story down now, or burn it when you're done, don't sympathize with any of the characters or fall in love with anyone contained in this story. It will only ruin you.

Freddy is a young fox shifter with a haunted past. Torn from the warmth of his loving parents, he was forced into servitude under two cruel vampire masters who treated him as nothing more than a pet to control, feed from, and break. Years of fear and pain hardened his heart, leaving behind a deep hatred for vampires and everything they represent. To Freddy, vampires are monsters-soulless creatures who see his kind as playthings to be used and discarded. But everything begins to change when he escapes. Wounded and wary, Freddy crosses paths with someone unexpected-a dracula who doesn't fit the mold. Someone who treats him not as prey, but as a person. Someone who sees him. As Freddy begins to heal, he's forced to question everything he thought he knew. Can a monster show kindness? Can the broken learn to trust? And could the heart he thought was long dead still be capable of love?
