housekeeping...

Louis starts his day at the hotel. He's a housekeeper, been working there for about 3 years. 9:30am to 3pm almost everyday a week.

His rooms that he needs to clean are up on the fifth floor, half of them are already out by the time he gets up there and loads his trolley. By the time those are done it's only half an hour before the official checkout time.

Not knowing if anyone else had departed whilst he was occupied cleaning other rooms, he decides to knock on the door of a hotel room that is still left on his list.

*knock knock* "housekeeping!" louis calls out. No answer. *knock knock* "housekeeping!" he calls again. Still no answer.

He uses his own specialised key card - one that let's him in all rooms - and enters the room with his cleaning caddy. The room is still dark, curtains shut, lamps turned off. He didn't think anything of it seen as half of his rooms are like this.

It's only as he flicks the light on that he sees a person in bed only just waking up.

The person turns to face louis, who is now stood frozen in place out of shock and embarrassment, with tired eyes and messy bed hair.

"morning mate."
