It has been 20 years since Katniss Everdeen killed Alma Coin and President Snow was killed by the citizens of Panem. Things have been peaceful since the Hunger Games were abolished until President Paylor was assassinated by an unknown suspect.
The new president is immediately forced to make a decision on how to punish the criminals, even though he doesn't know their identities. The president decides to bring back the Hunger Games. The news affects everyone around Panem.
Kyle Newman is 15 years old. He is incredibly smart, a bookworm, a star athlete, and closeted. Kyle hasn't told anyone about his sexuality, even his mother Leanne. But, when the games are announced and Kyle is selected as the male tribute for District 1, he decides to break down his walls.
Jasper Morgan is also 15 years old. He struggles in school, loves animals, is surprisingly fit for a District 12 kid, and is also closeted. Jasper realized that he might not like girls when he kissed his girlfriend Mary Ellis for the first time. Guess what? Jasper and Mary are selected to be the tributes for District 12, so Jasper opens up to his family and friends about his true self for the first time ever.
Throughout the trials and tribulations of the games, Kyle and Jasper meet. They quickly become friends and both start to accumulate incredible feelings for each other. Will they confess their feelings for each other and survive the games. Only time will tell.
All the rights to the idea of Panem and the Hunger Games belong to Suzanne Collins. All characters that did not exist in previous novels by Suzanne (those characters would only be mentioned in flashbacks/intro to the plot) belong to me.

What will happen when he's 18 and realizes that the person who he's destined to be with is none other than the one person that he's decided to make his life hell? Will he reject him or accept him? Because they play positions that counter each other, it was easy for them to hate each other. When one of them is playing well, the other is playing badly. On multiple occasions, their confrontations have become physical, some of them becoming full on fights. One night following a game, their hatred erupts in a way neither of them saw coming. WARNING: There is a massive amount of smut in this book. If you do not want to read smut, do not read this book, because there is a hell of a lot of smut. Chapters with smut will be labeled with an (M) on them, showing that they are mature. If you don't want to read smut, please just skip those chapters. IMPORTANT: The characters start out 18, but there are clear inconsistencies. I started writing this before the Wattpad Purge, and I didn't want to go through the entire story and change their age to 18. There will be a couple chapters near the end of the book where they both turn 18, and obviously that's just stupid. I just don't want to get banned, so I'm saying that these characters are already 18, but they also have their 18th birthdays near the end of the book. I'm just being lazy to be honest. It's not gonna affect the book that much, just ignore it when they say in the early chapters that they are already adults or already 18. That shit doesn't matter. The quality of my writing in this book is pretty mid by the way. I'm a teenage boy that listens to 21 Savage, I feel like expectations shouldn't be high. I don't have writing skills the way many other writers on this site do, so don't expect some Shakespeare type shit. The characters in this book are similar to each other too.
