This story starts half way through Jordan's(Jae's) senior year of high school. Jae is your everyday 18 yr old 'bad girl', or, she does bad things like every other high schooler out there. She drinks, smokes, constantly in detention, and defys her parents' rules. But her bad girl persona defys her, she holds straight A's,(The only thing straight about her), that is, until she finds out she was put in a class she doesn't need. Human anatomy. Jae isn't set on what she wants to do for college but she is thinking about being a tattoo Artist, where over half of her tattoos came from. So why would she need that class? It's not even required for graduation. She is dead set of dropping the class, until she gets told no and forced to attend. In that class is where she meets 25 yr old Miss Dirks, her teacher. From that point on she is set on pushing Miss Dirks' buttons, that is, until she gets to know her. What happens if she starts to catch feelings for Miss Aleah Dirks? And what if Aleah catches feelings for her 'bad' student Jae Nolan?

Sloane Rivera didn't come to Stonehurst University to get involved in its toxic royalty. She came to finish her degree, keep her head down, and move on from the wreckage of her past. But Jace Maddox-the campus king with tattoos, money, and a mouth made for sin-has other ideas. He mocks her in class. Blocks her path in the halls. Torments her with words that sound like hate but feel like heat. What starts as teasing becomes obsession. And obsession? Always comes with consequences. Enemies shouldn't touch. Enemies definitely shouldn't moan each other's names. But maybe the most dangerous part of letting him in... is not wanting to let him go. And just when their enemies-to-lovers mess starts feeling dangerously right, a secret buried deep by the people closest to her threatens to tear it all apart. Because sometimes, the truth doesn't just hurt. It detonates.
