All is peaceful in the world of Sonic the Hedgehog till Eggman comes up with a new plan to take over the world.  Along with his plan also comes a new enemy, one who is able to challenge Sonic and his friends. After the first encounter with the new enemy, the world loses hope as everyone believes Sonic is gone. But when a hero falls, some new ones rise to the challenge. Join our heroes, Violet the Wolf, Nightly the mutated Cat, and Stitch, as they all work together to get the Mobian's world back from Eggman's clutches!

'Common Enemy' [Sonic 3 Inspired Fic] by Real_ShadowHedgehog

Having come from Mobius, a once thought-to-be fictional world in which all of the Classic "Sonic The Hedgehog" characters live, a new super-powered, female Hedgehog arrives on Earth, looking to run away as she was being tracked down by echidna warriors. She soon finds herself hiding amongst the forests of what she later learns is "Green Hills" Montana before being spotted by another Hedgehog. As well as his family consisting of a two-tailed fox, echidna and two humans. Tom and Maddie. They get to know each other a bit, explaining each other's stories before being grouped together by an organization titled "G.U.N." and introduced to a new common enemy amongst the newly formed underdogs group, Shadow The Hedgehog. The group all go through highs and lows to keep this new common enemy at bay before a saddening past is revealed. The new female hedgehog makes it her new mission to keep this new enemy, who is swayed by heartbreak and pain and being used for something far greater beyond just simple revenge, at bay with hardened banter, endless ass-kicking and terrible, downright awful flirting and talk-me-downs before being discovered to hold a great power, one similar to the black and red hedgehog she was tasked to keep busy alongside others. Then, a new, odd, love-hate relationship starts to form between the two hedgehogs. It sparks and flares just as a huge revelation comes to light which requires the strengths of all 'alien' hedgehogs, humans, foxes and echidnas alike. All of the furry, non-furred and spiked friends then team up and take down those who deceived and manipulated. Sonic Forces: The Untold Story by SuperScourge161

As many Sonic fans are aware, Sonic Forces didn't live up to our expectations. Barebones, linear gameplay, overly forced "nostalgia", and a story that felt extremely half-baked. That's why I've decided to completely rewrite and revamp the story of Sonic Forces in the alternate take of the game. I've gone through the game's script and made some very heavy changes to improve upon the story. (gameplay is a whole other thing, I'll leave that to modders). If you wanna see what Sonic Forces COULD have been, then feel free to jump into this What If Story. DISCLAIMER: All the following is my own personal opinion/take. Our hero, the young adopted prince of the Empire, Y/n Akorn, has a disease that has made his body weak and frail. Though he has a mighty spirit and a strong connection to the Choas Force, his father, the king, won't allow him to aid in the war efforts. This world's version of Sonic The Hedgehog was the one chosen to take the "super-soldier serum" and become the Meta-Zone's first Super-Möbian. However, with a chance turn of events, Y/n is miraculously turned into the super-soldier and takes on the codename "Captain Möbius" as he uses his newfound powers and abilities to save his world. However, the aftermath of a final battle for his world leaves him stranded on Mobius-Prime. Knowing this isn't his home, but it's still in danger, Y/n allies himself with the Mobius-Prime's Freedom Fighters to save their world from the iron grasp of the evil Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik.

Eggman has sent Infinite on a number of missions to hunt down the resistance, however in this world the resistance is scattered. Scattered throughout the land and deep underground. These underground bunkers are called 'War Cabinets'. The resistance is much larger in this universe although in secrecy, they destroy patrols of robots left right and centre. However a new enemy rises and is far beyond the power of Infinite and shadow combined. How will they defeat him? You'll have to read to find out ^^. In this story. It will cover harsh topics like PTSD and paranoia, along with mentions of suicide. Warning: Gore Sad moments Scenes that could feel realistic Have fun reading. :3
