Clint Barton is a transgender man just trying to survive. All of the ups and downs, are they really worth all that trouble?

Or

"Ciara Barton, the only other girl in the Barton family other then her mother. The only problem with that is she would rather be a he.

He can't look at himself in the mirror without feeling like he is suffocating. He knows he can't say anything to anyone. Not his brother, not his mother.

Definitely not his father.

If the kids at school found out he would be a laughing stock. No one would ever care thats what it felt like. Thats what it feels like. "

Cara Barton wants to save the world, just like her dad, alongside the Avengers, but she fears what she has to leave behind in order to become a hero. Set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Cara must take risk after risk to gain a spot among the Avengers while also navigating what it means to be a part of the team. She's met with unexpected drama, near-death experiences, and guilt, loads of it, before she realizes it takes more than skill and determination to be great, to become greatness itself. She sacrifices pieces of herself bit by bit, hoping that by the end of it, when she finally gets to call herself an Avenger, that she can still stand tall when the dust clears and forgive herself for all the pieces that are missing. I do not own the rights to the MCU or its characters used within this book. Cara Barton is the only character in this series that belongs to me.
