After Tommy gets thrown into exile 2.0, everything seems to be going downhill for him. Nobody wants to capture Dream, all terrified of him despite him being wanted for breaking out of prison. After someone had endured too much, the tower was built again and he was prepared to end it all. DREAM was prepared to jump off and end it all.

Dream had destroyed the end portals that were within 1000's of blocks a month before the disappearances and if they died? Game. Over. Scientists developed a new VR like device, they only made 3. With those 3 they needed volunteers but nobody seemed to want to risk it. Tommy decieded to do it for fun and drag Tubbo with him.
