How do you boil a frog? You can't just throw it in the pot. It'll just jump out. You place it in the lukewarm water, and slowly turn up the heat, and before it realizes it, the water will be too hot for them to survive.

Peter is an orphan with a troubling past, looking for a release. Peter would run away from the orphanage, and is taken in by a dysfunctional family. One girl, Josie, would take a particular liking to Peter, and provide him with the release he's always wanted, but not in the way he expected.
