Takami Keigo once had a crush on the only friend he had growing up. On the day they were supposed to run away she disappeared. Thinking her dead he moved on with his tormented life. then 14 years later a much older version of the girl he once new emerges with news about his impending demise.

After Shirakumo Yukari reappeared in the world that she was born in she sought out the people who were closest to her brother before he passed. Learning about what has gone on while she was gone, she finally seeks out the one person she has come back to save. As they
battles seen and unseen threats, Yukari finds herself in more than a few questionable altercations with the winged hero.

Will she be able to fulfill her promise without catching feelings for her former friend? or will she throw caution to the wind and give into desire?

Have the embers of his childhood crush begun to burn once again, Or has he resign himself to a life of solitude?

Warning:
Sexual innuendos will be present between MC's and a few explicit scenes but that is not the entire focus of this fanfiction.

Also mentions of childhood abuse will be a undertone of the story due to a few flashbacks of when the MC's where children. This is meant as a way for the reader to understand why each character deeper than surface level and is not going to be through out the story.
