Elle still hasnt overcome the paranoia she was left with after one of her closest friends tried to commit suicide.
The eery feeling that theres someone following her at all times, watching her every move only drives her closer to supposed insanity.
Everyone knows how traumatizing it mustve been for Elle to almost lose her friend;
Which is why everyone understands her ptsd, not actually believing her paranoia.
That is until she runs into Billie...
