After the Victis crew built the Argarthan device, it was teleported to Nikolai who killed the Primis and Ultimus crew by poisoning them in their sleep. Once Nikolai destroyed the summoning key by using the Argarthan device, everything was banished to the Dark Aether. No more zombies, no more Element 115, and no more Apothacons, Keepers, Dr. Monty, and Shadowman....

After "The Way Through" was created for Samantha and Eddie to go into a new world outside the Aether's influence, somehow, the last fragments of the Primis Crew's souls were also transported to a different world.
