What if Aleksander told Alina the truth about who he was the night of the Winter Fete? Would she choose to stay with him? or Would she escape with Mal? The Shadow Crow (A Shadow and Bone: Season 2 Fanfiction)
A few days after Alina and I escaped the clutches of my brother, the former Ravkan general of the Second Army, Aleksander Kirigan, we parted ways. I went with Kaz Brekker and his gang of thieves, affectionately nicknamed the Crows, back to Ketterdam, while Alina Starkov and her friend, Mal Oretsev, left for other lands beyond the walls of Os Alta. In Ketterdam, I made a name for myself, aiding Kaz and the Crows in all manner of criminal behaviour, forgetting that I was ever the younger sister of the Black Heretic. But I've lost everything I've ever known. I don't know where my mother or my dear friend Genya is - sometimes, this new life is unfamiliar and uncomfortable, especially within the tight, damp spaces of Ketterdam, this sprawling criminal town that seems so big and yet so small. Or within the base of the Crows that I sometimes call home - or the feelings that I seem to feel for Kaz Brekker. Kaz and I still don't understand each other, and I don't think we ever will. Alina and Mal set off across the sea, and from what I heard, they were going in search of the second of Morozova's creatures, the Firebird. Alina hopes that with the help of the Firebird and the Stag as Grisha amplifiers, that she might be able to take down the Shadow Fold for good. Behind him, a monster ten feet tall, made of shadow, forms in a menacing stance, ready to carry out his silent orders. I thought I had seen the last of his nichevo'ya a long time ago when we were on opposing sides of the war. I shake my head. "No. No, what are you doing? Wait!" I send the Cut barrelling at the monster. It dissociates into nothing only for another one to take its place. Again, I send the Cut through the abomination, but it was only a diversion. Another one forms behind me, capturing my arms to prevent me from summoning. It holds me above the ground. I kick and scream, but it covers my mouth with its long, slender arm, the other holding me securely to its chest. My breath is labored as I use all of my strength to fight it. It is futile. The Darkling approaches me, stroking his fingers across my cheek as a way to comfort me. It is hard, however, to comfort someone if you are the cause of the distress. A darklina story~How would the story end if the battle at the climax of Seige & Storm between Alina and the Darkling happened at a different place and time-After the Darkling became the reigning king. What would have happened if the Sun Summoner surrendered? Alina Starkov struggles with her feelings towards Aleksander and protecting her country. She is forced into decisions that she did not want to make while at the Grand Palace. The Sun Summoner loses even more control over her life after her marriage to the Darkling. She must gain back control and find a way to save Aleksander's humanity; the lives of innumerous innocent people depend on it. This story is based on the Shadow and Bone trilogy combined with the Netflix show. Hours of devotion to this story I crafted from my head and a single character I wanted to give a nice wifey. That was how it begun. And yes. I enjoyed it in many ways. Yes, Genya wasn't smth I saw coming even though I felt a pull to her in the show itself. I wasn't planning on that at all. Yet. At the end of it all. I can't even bring myself to finish this shi- Ahem. Set after Season 2 of Shadow and Bone. I have not read the books and likely will not, ever.
