Yoongi's passion is food. Not eating it, but cooking it. When he was little, his choice of reading was the cookbooks in his mother's kitchen. Unfortunately, his parents couldn't afford proper training or education, so he is completely self taught. While working as a line cook, his restaurant is chosen to be the first to be made over for a new series starring famous chef, Kim Seokjin. Amidst filming, Seokjin fires his culinary producer for lacking the right passion, causing Yoongi to take advantage of the fact that they desperately needed someone to create a brand new dish to add to the restaurant's menu. He ends up impressing Seokjin so much that the chef hires him on the spot, leading Yoongi to travel the world creating new dishes of food, just like he'd always dreamed.
