Have you ever wondered if the people around you are aware? Of their thoughts? Their surroundings? Of the things they do? I have. I always do even if I'm not so aware myself... The World We Live In is a story about a teenage girl living in New York City who meets a guy and falls in something that resembles love. It is also a story about a girl who struggles to find her way and be happy in a world that's stopping her from becoming anything other than whats shes trying so hard to escape. The main villain? Herself and her naivety. Throughout the story she learns that the true colors of the world are worse than she thought they were, and that all she used to believe, stemming from her want of a simple explanation of life that only looked at the black and white, was utterly wrong. Like everyone's life, hers is also filled with streaks of happiness. A memoir of someone who lives in our heads and, someone that lives in all of us...
