With her dragon wizard powers, Eve is capable of defeating anything. However, at a school with more than one species all living together under one roof, there is more than just being an outcast to face. There's the reapers, the enemies of the fairies. They are angels of death and will settle only or the purest of souls to take. The hunters, the ones who chase down the shifters to kill them just for the pure fun of it. That and to hang their skins off as a trophy. There's the enemies of the vampires, who are mostly just rogue vampires straying from the rules that they live their lives upon. The night walkers who terrorize people's dreams and no one but a warrior can enter the dream world to save them. Then there's the enemies of the wizards. Dark elves. Of course it does, after all, the highest concentration of Qi is found in forests where ancient redwoods grow. You might be wondering, what is Qi? In Japan it is called "ki," and in India, "prana"." The ancient Egyptians referred to it as "ka," and the ancient Greeks as "pneuma." In Africa, it's known as "ashe" and in Hawaii as "mana." Qi, Prana, Ki, call it what you will, this energy is the life force itself.
