Since the beginning of time, Earth has been home to many physical and non-physical things. Whether Angel or Gods, Spirits or Astral figures. Earth is a home, just like many other planets in the Multiverse.
For most of the protecting creatures like the Nephilim, or Shadowhunters as they call themselves, they do not know of the existence of other religion based creatures.
The Nordic Creatures do not know of The Biblical Creatures and vice versa.
When Earth senses the awakening of a series of dangerous creatures that threaten more than herself, Earth takes an untrained Nephilim girl who's neglected her heritage and Angel blood, and gives her the gift of her life essence. Earth leaves Nyx with an incredible amount of power and knowledge that all she needs is to tap into and use.
This is a story about a reality I lived in.
