Princess Kuvira Starcloud of Clan of Emerald is more wild than royal. All the stories say the dragons went extinct centuries ago under King Theros' rule. Princess Kuvira stumbles upon a discovery so big, it'd shake the whole island. She decides to keep this to herself and do some more investigating.

During the annual autumn celebration a fire starts deep in the castle and Queen Arabella, Kuvira's mother, is found dead in her chambers. Discontent spreads through the clan as they try to unravel the mystery surrounding the queens death.

Continuing her investigation, Kuvira finds herself burdened with a secret discovery that if found, could cause a war among all three clans. Seeing how this must be taken care of carefully and quietly, it just became ten times more difficult for the Queen-to-be.

Clan of Emerald hosts the annual clan gathering for their two sister clans. Clan of Ivory comes from the southwest island and Clan of Azure comes from the northeast. This year the ball falls in the same week as Kuvira's coronation. A secret discovery weighs heavily on her as does the peace and balance of three clans, for the next two weeks. Will she slip and fall or rise above it all?

"Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?

He however, gets his wish, but will his father, who is one not to let go, let him go to begin his training with his cousins? Moray and his parents are loyal subjects to the king and queen of The Hundred Isles. When he hears rumors that the Riders are returning, and he accidentally finds a dragon egg, and it hatches. Where will he decides his loyalty belongs: to his family and people or to the Riders and Erdas? Toph Beifong is the only daughter of of Lao and Poppy Beifong, one of the wealthiest families in Xia Kao Dai, the capital city of Zhong. Her parents always sheltered her too much that no one even knew she existed because they believed her to be too frail and defenseless because she was born blind. When Toph runs away one day and comes face to face with a legendary beast, thought to be extinct, will it kill her or save her from her current life? This is a fanfic of Wings of Fire, Spirit Animals, and the Inheritance Cycle. I used Toph because I just really like her character and life and love how she went from the quiet, frail girl to the strong independent person she becomes in Avatar the Last Airbender. Again I used magic from Harry Potter. I used names from ATLA because I like their names , but their personalities and appearances are not the same, except for Toph.
