10 Things I Hate About You (& Counting)

Being a second-year in high school meant a lot of things. No longer are you the "freshies" of the school- or the arrogant underclassmen, who roam the corridors thinking they're better than everyone. No longer are you the third year's pushovers, the poor victims to the menacing, taller and more intelligent upperclassmen.

For Nishimura Riki, being a second-year did not change a thing. For one, he is still in the top ten on the rivaling academic hierarchy. With that in mind, he is again reminded of the fact that he is stuck with the same, obnoxiously cocky, goody two shoes, Kim So Yeon.

It wasn't the fact that he had to see her after school almost everyday. It wasn't the fact that he lived right across the street from his best friend Kim Sunoo, and his younger sister, Kim So Yeon's house. No. It was the infuriating fact that he, Nishimura Riki, had caught the, overly cocky, aggravating-to-the-bone, Kim So Yeon, rigging the class votes for class president. Now that, was what pushed him to his limits.
