Charlotte Randolph"s head throbbed as the carriage raced through the frigid cold night. Her tongue tasted the bitter liquid on the rag, stuffed in her mouth. She gasped for fresh air through the handkerchief tied around her mouth. Wrapped in her cloak, a man carried her down a ladder into darkness. She pleaded for mercy, but the gag prevented her words from being heard.
Through a blur of tears, Charlotte could see her captor. She saw his eyes as he stroked her hair.
He promised her that he would come for her in the morning and she would be safe. Then he left her alone in the darkness. She heard the bang of a door, and inky-black darkness engulfed her as she laid on the cot. She tossed and turned, struggling against her restraints. With each breath, she inhaled the bitter smell.
"...through the darkness, be near me and keep me safe until morning light, Amen."
Then everything went still.

He was her rock, her best friend, her first love. He became her worst nightmare, her tormentor, her captor She was his everything. His obsession. Their story should have ended with that court case, but he's found a way back to her, and he won't give her another opportunity to escape. Not this time. ------------------------------------------- Shivering, I sobbed out, unable to speak, unable to move. "Shh, shh, now baby-girl, it's alright, you're safe, don't cry" he soothed, moving closer to me. "N-Noah, I w-want to go home," I sobbed, feeling weak from my inability to talk without stuttering. A gasp left my parted lips as his hand forcefully connected with my cheek, "You are home, so I don't want to hear that crap from you, okay?" shaking, I looked down at my feet, his gaze too menacing to hold. "I said, do you understand" he spit through clenched teeth, "y-yes, I'm sorry" I whispered, a new wave of tears making their appearance. "Good girl, now I need you to keep being a good girl, okay?" nodding, my eyes met his dark ones. His form towered over me, making me feel small and irrelevant. "Words, Embry!" He demanded as I stuttered out a quiet yes. I studied him cautiously as he walked towards the far end of the room, shuffling through drawers before stalking back towards me and crouching down. I sucked in a breath as I saw the knife in his hand, his face held a mischievous grin as it glinted in the light. "Now baby-girl, you see, as much as I hate to, you need to be punished, do you know why?" Warning! This story is for mature audience, it contains strong language, abuse, mature themes and sensitive topics. Please enjoy, -Aphrodite.

One night after a party, she vanishes, taken by strangers who live in a house beyond the cemetery, where the doors only lock from the outside. But Diana refuses to break. She learns their patterns, their pain. She disarms them one by one-first with her mind, then with blood. This is not a story about healing. It's a survival story. I yank on the restraints, and the rope bites into my skin. I pull and pull and try to shuffle away from him. He presses the blade against my neck, and I freeze. "Fearful," he says. I catch a glimpse of his freakishly long canines. The edge of the blade presses on my skin, just enough not to draw blood.

This is a Vampire diaries and originals fan fiction. Centered around a young girl who finds herself tied inseparably to both the Salvatore's and the Mikelson's. Will she be forced to sever ties with one family in order to save them or will she be able to reason with the devil in her past to stay?*** *** My body erupted with pain and I screamed, I'd gone 200 years since I had last felt pain like this, shrill and loud I broke the windows. I could feel the blood in my body leave me, my feet first then hands, legs, arms. My torso going limp and darkness threatening me. I screamed until I died and it was a glorious death.
