What Have We Done...?

War comes and goes with harmful impacts to the environment. Radiation kills and infects, mutates and causes illness and death. Illness humans are too stubborn to deal with properly, killing and ruining lives and families. Even helping the illness evolve into a stronger one.

In the future, our LAST war as the human race was truly idiotic. Pollution at this point had covered everything, smog, fumes, radioactive remnants, and diseases getting stronger. But the humans decided that this would be a great time for another world war. Throwing nuclear bombs, biological weapons, guns, cannons, bombs, you name it all towards the other side. Thus, resulting in our current point...

Every human left lives underground in a HUGE bunker the size of a city. There are individual rooms, roles, and such. A whole civilization. A Monarchy.

Above was toxic and dangerous to even open the vault door. One step outside could melt your body instantly. Even though sealed, they still have to clean the air constantly with filters due to numerous human children being born disfigured or with added parts, some functional.

But this horrid place that we created... humans weren't alone anymore. Monsters, beasts of disgusting appearances would roam, highly infectious diseases and high radiation levels emitting from their bodies.

Can it get worse? Maybe a human rebellion against their monarchy? Or something entirely new and dangerous enters the fray?
