Successor AU (Monkie Kid story) by b00nalina

Plot: Mk, Mei, and Redson were all born in the same time period in this AU. So ancient China basically. Wukong raised Mk, Macaque raised Mei, and Nezha raised Redson. Wukong is sort of an obsessive yandere in this. His whole goal is to find wherever Macaque ran off to all these years. Macaque basically adopted Mei, even though he doesn't quite know how to be a parent. Nezha raised Redson, attempting to tame his firey anger and stray him from the path of villainy. Red Son has been developing something off of his fire powers, they seem to be more heated, even more for his own liking. At some point, he has an outburst and his fire erupts into colored flames which scares him, he swears that it even hurt him. Red son gets scared of himself and worries about his parents, not wanting to hurt them. So he runs away with as much as he could carry and runs into Mk. After some convincing Red son decides to go with Mk but the longer he stays the more feelings he catches for Mk, and the more risk of putting him in danger. all the art featured is done by me it's slow-burn but it gets there at some point :D
