The Shattered World
Disclaimers: This story may include violence that can be upsetting to some readers. It can be more gruesome than you think, with a lot of psychological horror themes. This is HEAVILY Fantasy based, and some of it is made up by myself, however, was inspired by other things. Basically: Very magical world. A little thing I should mention is that in the world of Akara (the planet they are on), the word God and Deity do not mean the same/are not the same being (Deities being stronger). I think of the story like this: This isn't the story of a hero slaying a dragon and rescuing the princess. Nor is this a story about a hero who triumphs over evil and rescues the maiden in peril. This is the story of a man, who fights as much with himself, as he does the world around him. He is no hero, he is simply a man, trying to make the best he can of himself, and fix what he broke.
