Elfreda Durnhelm has come out of hiding to follow and protect the company of dwarves and a hobbit in their quest to reclaim their homeland. She was only meant to be a shadow, nothing but blur to get her back in society after many years in exile. But plans never go smoothly and the dwarves spot a 'fairy' lurking in the shadows.
The characters besides Elfreda do not belong to me, they are the rights of J.R.R Tolkien and the film makers.

When Alvena gets the Journey she always dreamed of she never imagined she would go through hardships, painful experiences and breath taking moments and most of all she didn't imagine she would fall in love. but would he love her back? While carrying out her duty, Aearon found herself at the mercy of the cold Prince of Mirkwood and King Thranduil himself. Finding herself locked in Thranduil's dungeon, the she-elf soon finds herself becoming friends with the most unlikely of creatures who steer her life on to a whole new path. Accompanying the group of dwarves to their home, Aearon finds herself battling both foe and feeling as she struggles to survive the dangers of middle earth. Will she allow herself to become compromised by her feelings or will she continue on her journey to prove herself. They all happen to find their real family but one of them learns a powerful secret about them. What is even more complicated is that they fall in love and try to run away because they know that they wont be staying long yet a part of them wants to know what will happen if they give in to their feelings? How will they handle what they are and What will they choose? Will they fight for what they want or will they run away, hurting themselves and the ones they love? This is a fanfic.
