Juliet, Ana and Beatrix Olay are three sisters who live in a distopian North America. They are traveling constantly to move away from a group of people called Evernans who have been trying to overthrow the leaders. When a mysterious woman appears claiming she can lead them to a safe environment. The only choice is to follow her because the Evernans are advancing upon them fast. Beatrix Olay doesn't trust the woman, who's name is Rosanna, and she believes that Rosanna is leading them closer to the Evernans, rather than further away. So, one night she slips away, unnoticed and begins a long journey herself with Ana, her older sister. Along the way, she sees a shadow that isn't her own, it's the shadow of a woman, watching over the girls as they make their journey to the Evernan camp, little do they know what lies ahead is a dangerous path.

{BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. They strive for intellect, to be smart and curious. Candor; deception. They strive to be honest. Amity; they blamed the war itself along with fighting. They strive to be kind, forgiving, peaceful. Abnegation; selfishness. So they strive to be selfless. Dauntless are our police. Erudite are our teachers. Candor is the law. Amity are the farmers. And Abnegation are our government. I would sit on the ground everyday, wearing my yellow dress with black sandals. Wasn't the best thing for me. Dresses made my shoulders to broad, especially the flowing ones. When I was home alone, or with my mother, I would wear I tight black shirt and white shorts. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away. It confused me. Maybe I wasn't Amity enough to understand. Maybe I wasn't kind enough. Maybe, just maybe, I didn't belong here. So where do I belong? This book is is written in the far future were war is raging throughout the world permanently halting all innovations. Humanity wanting to finally bring it all to an end only finds one way to solve it. End humanity as we know it. Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. This is my first book, so it may have a few mess ups but I hope you enjoy, I have worked hard to at least get this out.
