At a first glance, the story of Bardock and Gine appears like a fairytale.

The proud warrior safes the damsel in distress, they fall in love and live happily ever after, right?
WRONG! Admittedly, if you leave out certain details and keep everything to the essential minimum, you can say it like that. But even the most beautiful fairytale isn't only made of sunshine and rainbows because where there is light, there will always be shadows ...
 
As it happens, it was a long and rocky road bristled with obstacles and difficulties - especially for the proud and cold-blooded warrior who, from the very first second, found himself in a struggle with himself, his attitude, his (basically) settled convictions and prejudices and his entire view on life itself.
Without even realizing it, Bardock got himself deeper and deeper enmeshed into something he had no control over. Only when everything came crashing down on him and he suddenly found himself in ruins he suddenly realized what really matters to him.
But ... is it worth fighting for?
And if it is ... how do you fight for something you never even considered existent up to this point?

Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her. But now it doesn't seem so simple anymore. Instead she focuses on keeping her friends alive.

The world was burning and countless unknown creatures roamed around to kill anything which was in their sight but what could they kill? Everyone already died and nothing was left to destroy just waiting for this 'world' to slowly burn away. That's right because even if there was nothing left to call this a 'world' there was one small resistance left.... a person... yes that is right just one person... The only person who survived was a human, you may ask why did he survive? The answer is simple: he was able to survive because of one thing that we humans are best at and that is.... Fight to survive!... Only Fight to survive!
